Help The Daily Signal Cover the News That Matters
Katrina Trinko /
At the end of 2020, one thing is safe to say: This year wasn’t what any of us thought it would be.
It’s been a year of hysteria, nonsense, and panic, and the traditional media has done nothing to help. On the pages of America’s major news sources, violent riots became peaceful protests. Lockdowns and closed schools become the only way to keep our nation safe.
Every day, it gets harder for the American people to know what to believe, or to hear different viewpoints. With your support and readership, however, The Daily Signal is telling the nation the other side of all these stories.
The Daily Signal provided serious reporting and thoughtful analysis throughout this last year. As CNN hilariously covered those “mostly peaceful protest[s],” our own Virginia Allen and Mark Guiney went to Kenosha, Wisconsin, and interviewed devastated small business owners, unsure if they could rebuild after the riots that ravaged the city’s stores.
As politicians imposed lockdowns and shuttered schools, The Daily Signal provided serious analysis and information. Our medical contributor, Dr. Kevin Pham, shared sensible measures to keep you and your family safe, while simultaneously debunking the media fearmongering.
And while traditional media decided the election was over on Nov. 7, The Daily Signal decided on a different approach: actually reporting on the ongoing battles related to the election results. Fred Lucas exhaustively covered pivotal voter fraud hearings in key battleground states, and Rachel del Guidice interviewed a Pennsylvania lawyer and election watcher.
After this year, I’m wary of making predictions when it comes to 2021. But I know this much: Here at The Daily Signal, we’re committed to reporting on the news that matters, especially if the traditional media is looking the other way. If Joe Biden is our next president, a watchdog media will be crucial for accountability.
That’s where we need your help.
Doing old-fashioned, accurate, serious reporting isn’t easy. It’s time-consuming and requires top talent.
We’re committed to keeping The Daily Signal free because we believe the best hope for our republic returning to sanity is giving Americans access to the facts the traditional media tries so hard to ignore and suppress.
But in order to do that, we need your assistance. We hope you’ll consider giving a gift to The Daily Signal this year.
And that’s not all. We also need your help to provide top-notch reporting. As we go into 2021, we want to do more investigative reporting on the issue that matter most. We have big plans to dig deeper into voter fraud and the ways schools are trying to indoctrinate children with leftist beliefs. Your support will help us unearth important stories.
Lastly, thank you. Thank you for reading, thank you for sharing our reporting, thank you for your letters to the editor, and thank you for your advice and insights. We couldn’t do it without you!
