Thousands of people descended upon Washington, D.C., for the first-ever March for Our Lives, an anti-gun march following February’s horrific shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
The Daily Signal went to the march and spoke with attendees.
“I try to keep an open mind and I’ve looked at some of the data and I don’t think that what they’re arguing for is going to be necessarily effective,” one conservative college student says.
“You see so many people here, they say, ‘We don’t want to take people’s guns away, we don’t want to confiscate them,’ meanwhile we see people here with signs that say, ‘I wish Obama people took guns away.’ Or they propose the Australia gun buyback program here in the U.S., where guns will be confiscated by the government.”
While many in the mainstream media are focused on gun control, we bring you a perspective you likely won’t hear from other networks. Watch the video above to find out more.
