The Supreme Court heard oral arguments Wednesday in what is likely to be one of the most controversial cases of the current term: Fisher v. University of Texas at Austin. At issue is whether universities should be allowed to use racial preferences in their admissions programs. It’s the second time this case has made its way to the high court.
In an interview with The Daily Signal, Heritage Foundation legal expert Hans von Spakovsky, who was inside the courtroom for oral arguments, says he believes the evidence presented in oral arguments and via amicus briefs filed in the case should lead the Court to rule against Texas.
