Pro-Life Groups Launch Website to Help Patients Find Alternatives to Planned Parenthood

A group of pro-life organizations have launched a website to help patients seeking health care find alternatives to Planned Parenthood.
The Daily Signal previously reported that Alliance Defending Freedom and Charlotte Lozier Institute, the research arm of the Susan B. Anthony List, compiled a map of alternative health centers across the United States.
Now, that map is interactive. Patients can go to GetYourCare.org to search for providers in their local area.
On the website, they state their mission:
GetYourCare.org is a resource brought to you by the pro-women & pro-life movements of America. Our goal is to give women everywhere in America access to information about the thousands and thousands of quality health care options women have.
In an interview with The Daily Signal, Casey Mattox, a senior counsel at Alliance Defending Freedom, said that “In every state, there are low-cost, quality health centers that can provide care.”
But Planned Parenthood, he said, relies on perpetuating the idea that they are the only place low-income patients can receive care.
“Planned Parenthood is not going to tell you about other providers for the same reason McDonald’s won’t tell you about Arby’s,” Mattox said.
Mattox added that despite claims to the contrary from Planned Parenthood supporters, these community health centers are capable of absorbing additional patients, especially if the funds Planned Parenthood currently receives were redirected to them.
GetYourCare.org also provides contact information for organizations that can assist women facing unplanned pregnancies.
Planned Parenthood faces allegations that it is trafficking aborted fetal body parts after a series of undercover videos were released by the Center for Medical Progress. Spokespersons for Planned Parenthood have denied illegal conduct.
