Planned Parenthood Official Suggests ‘We Alter Our Process’ to Harvest Tissue
Kelsey Bolar /
A fifth undercover video released this morning shows Planned Parenthood officials allegedly discussing the harvesting of organs from aborted babies, adding to growing allegations that the organization illegally profits off the sale of this tissue.
The video, which is graphic, also raises questions as to whether Planned Parenthood doctors alter their abortion methods to harvest tissue from aborted babies.
The group behind the investigation, The Center for Medical Progress, says the latest 15-minute video features Melissa Farrell, director of research for Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast.
Investigators say they posed as representatives from a human biologics company at the headquarters of Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast in Houston.
In the video, Farrell summarizes her affiliate’s approach to baby tissue payments:
If we alter our process, and we are able to obtain intact fetal cadavers, we can make it part of the budget that any dissections are this, and splitting the specimens into different shipments is this. It’s all just a matter of line items.
Planned Parenthood adamantly denies any wrongdoing in the videos, which have triggered multiple investigations and calls to strip the organization of its taxpayer dollars.
