Support for Obamacare Drops to New Low

Support for Obamacare has reached a new low.
According to a new Gallup poll, only 37 percent of Americans approve of the president’s signature law, its lowest approval rating ever.
Additionally, 56 percent of Americans disapprove of the law, its highest disapproval rate.
Gallup characterizes Americans’ feelings about Obamacare as highly partisan, noting that 74 percent of Democrats approve of the law compared to 8 percent of Republicans. Thirty-three percent of independents currently approve of the law.
Politico notes that the Affordable Care Act’s second open enrollment period began on Saturday, with what cit alled “minor snags” while “enthusiasm for the law remains underwhelming.”
The Gallup poll was conducted Nov. 6-9 with a national sample of 828 adults and has a margin of error of 4 percentage points.
