NEW ORLEANS — Hobby Lobby President Steve Green set the record straight about his company’s fight against the government over the controversial Obamacare mandate.
In an exclusive on-camera interview with The Foundry, Green said Hobby Lobby drew the line when the government required the company to provide life-ending drugs, free of charge, under the health law’s mandate.

Hobby Lobby already provides coverage for 16 of the 20 drugs covered under the mandate, Green explained.
“We do not have a problem with contraceptives,” Green explained. “It is those that are abortive in nature—that is when it becomes a problem for us.”
On behalf of his family, Green accepted the Salvatori Prize for American Citizenship along with the Hahn family of Conestoga Wood Specialties at The Heritage Foundation’s Resource Bank meeting today.
