The Heritage Foundation presents the staggering cost of amnesty and the detrimental effects it will have on the economy in a report to be released shortly before 11:30 a.m. ET today. Heritage Foundation President Jim DeMint, report author Robert Rector, and Vice President of Domestic and Economic Policy Derrick Morgan will discuss the cost of the “Gang of Eight’s” amnesty portion of the immigration bill and how it strips the opportunities that attract the newest waves of Americans.

Heritage is the only organization that has done an analysis of the cost and advocates for immigration reform in piece-by-piece actions to fix a broken system — without making false promises and crippling taxpayers.
