What will America look like in 2016? Dinesh D’Souza is troubled by the big-government policies that President Obama has implemented in his first term. He’s terrified about what could be in store for the future.
In his new book, “Obama’s America: Unmaking the American Dream,” D’Souza outlines what’s at stake for America. D’Souza has an accompanying film, “2016: Obama’s America,” that examines the anti-colonial ideology that D’Souza sees as fueling Obama’s agenda.
D’Souza will speak at today’s Bloggers Briefing at noon ET. The Heritage Foundation will broadcast it live online.
D’Souza’s previous book, “The Roots of Obama’s Rage,” became a best-seller for its controversial indictment of Obama. D’Souza’s thesis resonated, prompting his latest work about the eight-year plan Obama envisions for America. D’Souza said the president is taking the country on a path that our Founders wouldn’t even recognize.
D’Souza said the country will face even more policies that transform the economy, health care, and America’s role in the world. Obama has suggested such changes himself, telling Russia’s Dmitry Medvedev earlier this year, “This is my last election. After my election I have more flexibility.”
How exactly will he use that “flexibility”? D’Souza believes he’ll carry out the final four years of his plan to unmake America.
In addition to being a best-selling author, D’Souza is president of The King’s College in New York City. He previously served as a White House domestic policy analyst and got his start in Washington at The Heritage Foundation.
