Tens of thousands of demonstrators attended the March for Israel held Tuesday on the National Mall in Washington.

Reporters for The Daily Signal and staffers from The Heritage Foundation were on the ground at the march and captured photos of some of the signs demonstrators carried. (The Daily Signal is the news outlet of The Heritage Foundation.)

The march was organized in solidarity with Israel in the wake of the Oct. 7 terrorist attack, when Hamas killed about 1,400 people and took some 240 hostages. Hamas’ attack saw the most Jewish bloodshed in one day since the Holocaust. Since the attack, there has been a rise in antisemitism.

In a bipartisan show of support for Israel, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y.; House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La.; House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y.; and Sen. Joni Ernst, R-Iowa, took to the stage at the march making clear their support for the Jewish state.

“The calls for a cease-fire are outrageous,” said Johnson.

The following are some of the signs the demonstrators carried to express their sentiments:
