WATCH: Bloggers’ Briefing at Heritage Discusses Terrorism
Amy Payne /
From noon to 1 p.m. ET today, join us for the Bloggers’ Briefing at Heritage. As President Obama and Governor Romney debate the nature of terrorism and how to combat it, we will hear from Daris Long, whose son was killed at a military recruiting office in Little Rock in 2009. Long recently wrote in The Daily Caller that “President Obama has a history of refusing to acknowledge terrorism.” Army Private Andy Long was killed in the first of three terrorist attacks that Obama refused to call terrorism.
Ericka Andersen has more about the Fort Hood attack classified as “workplace violence.”
Also joining us today:
- Jonathan Lesser, president of Continental Economics, will share the results of a new study about the harmful effects of the Wind Production Tax Credit. Heritage has said this is about as useful as subsidies for VHS tapes.
- Kristina Rasmussen, executive vice president of the Illinois Policy Institute, visits Heritage to share an update from the Land of Lincoln.
