Problematic Women: The Science About Motherhood Liberals Don’t Want to Hear

Kelsey Bolar •   November 5, 2017

Is early childhood development now a political issue? According to New York psychoanalyst Erica Komisar, author of a new book, “Being There: Why Prioritizing Motherhood in the First Three Years Matters,” it is.

Speaking to The Wall Street Journal, Komisar said conservative news outlets “interviews me and loved me,” but the mainstream media … not so much. “I couldn’t get on NPR,” and “I was rejected wholesale—particularly in New York—by the liberal press,” Komisar said.

The premise of her book argues that “mothers are biologically necessary for babies” for their first three years of life. In this week’s edition of “Problematic Women,” co-hosted with Bre Payton of The Federalist, we discuss this argument—and the fallout—as well as another case of conservative women coming under attack in a women’s magazine. (This time, it’s Marie Claire).

We also address Betsy DeVos’ problematic Halloween costume, the Women’s Convention, and a New York Times reporter donating to Planned Parenthood while covering the U.S. Supreme Court.

Today, even with President Trump’s victory, leftist elites have their tentacles in every aspect of our government.

The Daily Signal’s own Tyler O’Neil exposes this leftist cabal in his new book, The Woketopus: The Dark Money Cabal Manipulating the Federal Government.

In this book, O’Neil reveals how the Left’s NGO apparatus pursues its woke agenda, maneuvering like an octopus by circumventing Congress and entrenching its interests in the federal government.
