After weeks of preparation, President Obama delivered a State of the Union address tonight filled with policy proposals and legislative ideas for the 114th Congress.

While some aspects of the speech had been previewed through a series of “SOTU Spoilers” unveiled by Obama in the weeks leading up to the address, the president offered up some surprise propositions—including threats to veto several key aspects of the GOP’s agenda for 2015.

Members of the House and Senate, U.S. Supreme Court justices and Cabinet secretaries gathered in the Capitol to hear the president speak.
