Meet the Man Who Waterboarded 9/11 Mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed

Melissa Quinn •   December 16, 2014

A week after Senate Democrats released what the media have dubbed the “torture report,” one of the men who waterboarded 9/11 mastermind Khalid Sheikh Mohammed is speaking out about his role in the program.

“I do not mind giving my life for my country, but I do mind giving my life for a food fight for political reasons,” says James Mitchell.

Dr. James Mitchell, a former Air Force psychologist, spoke with Fox News’ Megyn Kelly in a 25-minute interview last night about his participation in the CIA’s enhanced interrogation program.

“I do not mind giving my life for my country,” he said of his work with the CIA and the threats he’s faced following the report’s release. “But I do mind giving my life for a food fight for political reasons between two groups of people who should be able to work it out like adults.”

Senate Intelligence Chairwoman Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., released the report on the CIA’s post-Sept. 11 actions last week. The controversial document detailed the different techniques the CIA used on Mohammed and other terrorists with ties to him.

In this book, O’Neil reveals how the Left’s NGO apparatus pursues its woke agenda, maneuvering like an octopus by circumventing Congress and entrenching its interests in the federal government.
