Well I don't have time to listen to mac the knife.
we don't have a high speed connection.
I can just imagine whats he's saying,…we gotta do this, we gotta do that. We submitted this, and that.
WHERE WAS HE DURING THE CAMPAIGN THAT GOT US THIS ADMINISTRATION?
THE PEOPLE THAT VOTED AGAINST OBAMA ARE OUTRAGED, AND NOW MAC IS, LET ME GUESS,…DEMANDING RETRIBUTION FOR THE AMERICAN TAXPAYER BECAUSE THE POLICIES BEING FORWARDED ARE NOT CONDUCIVE TO THE CONSERVATIVE AMERICAN PEOPLE'S DESIRES.
THE CONSERVATIVE AMERICANS VOTED FOR SARAH PALIN, NOT YOU.
WE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT YOU WOULD DO ONCE YOU GOT IN THERE.
WE COULDN'T TRUST YOU. AND FOR GOOD REASON, YOU'RE JUST ANOTHER POLITICIAN WHO DIDN'T DEFEND YOUR RUNNING MATE TO THE EXTENT I THOUGHT A VETERAN WOULD DO.
I AM VERY SKEPTICAL OF ANY THING YOU SAY.
ra, why comment on something you haven't heard? Kinda reminds me of people who voted for Obama without a clue why. McCain is human…which is more than I can say for the machine that we see read teleprompters at primetime.
He pointed out some shocking facts as well as spoke about what reconcilation (in government) is and what it means to our country. He talked about what passing certain environmental laws means for the advancement of socialized health care. He spoke of the betrayal of earmarks and antiquated tax code. Much more than "we're doing this or submitted that". He is neither doom and gloom nor unecessarily upbeat/plastic. McCain is on point here and all should take the time to listen.
He's still waving that "bipartisan" flag. He doesn't get that "bipartisan" to the democrats means that you have to agree with what they want.
To fail is a consequence, not an allowance. Get the GOVERNMENT OUT!!!!

THE ONLY THING THAT WILL SAVE AMERICA, ISRAEL & the nations of the world is A GREAT AWAKENING UNTO ALMIGHTY GOD IN JESUS NAME.
McCain is a man pleaser and ALL Americans NEED TO REPENT before Holy God to send A GREAT AWAKENING.
There is little time left before we lose our glorious nation to socialism, communism, marxism etc. Lord, God Almighty in your wrath remember MERCY and send GREAT AWAKENING TO AMERICA.
In Jesus name, Amen
A great speech, answering the current situation with a lot of common sense answers. As with others, I wish we'd seen more of this during the campaign, but bygones are bygones, so we move on. Conservatives DO have solutions, including letting bankruptcy and the free market strengthen business, not punishing success through taxation and building our nation's debt to prop up the status quo and promote agendas that have little to do with relief for America's economy.
McCain speaks of responsibility and balanced budgets, but this same day he votes in favor of the $6 billion GIVE Act, to promote volunteerism. Senator McCain the military budget is being cut so on what basis is this GIVE Act money well spent. How do you explain your vote in the context of your speech? What part of "you cannot spend your way to prosperity" are you having trouble with?
Only 19 Senators voted against the GIVE Act, all of them Republicans, none of them named McCain. I'd rather hear from conservatives who walk the walk, than Republicans who talk the talk.
This RINO will simply not fade into oblivion! He is not the leader of the Republican Party as was clearly indicated in his last failed bud for the White House – nor has he ever been. If there is a leader, that duty would likely fall on the shoulders of Michael Steele, such as that situation is.
Enough face time for McCain and his 'strolling across the aisle' and his 'gangs of 14' phylosophies. In fairness, he does have ideas of substance to put forth, however, his moderate ideas overwhelmingly negate all of them. He is a clear and present danger to the conservative movement, and as such should not be provided a conservative forum from which to speak, particularly the Heritage Foundation.
As far as I am concerned, the RNC should take a negative, or at least a neutral position regarding his upcoming election – most certainly, no campain cash should be provided him.
Better to have a Democrat win than an avowed RINO in whom no conservative can depend when the chips are down and a vote is needed (i.e. border security and amnesty for illegal invaders, Supreme Court nominees, and on-and-on), Just go away, Mr. McCain.
You do not serve us well.

I listened to Mac (entirely) and agree with his points. BUT, since loosing his bid for the WH, many folks want to hear from other conservatives….well I do anyhow. AIG the big three and their auto parts providers should have excercized Chapter 11…then reorganized and re-employeed anyone layed off. Their unemployment benefits paid would, I believed, would have cost less than the current or future bailouts. BO, the "Queen Bee", H. Reid, C. Dodd, and the "Sugar Boy" Barney Frank should share a course in study of our Declaration of Independence and the Bill of Rights!!!
The business of America is business. Businesses go bankrupt……..that goes along with the territory.
No business is toooo bigggg not to be allowed to fail.
There is no distinctive native American criminal
class……save Congress. — Mark Twain
I think I'd like to join the common sentiment here and say that the sooner we get McCain away from our side the better. The man is a dud and always has been….
John McCain is the true picture of an American Hero, then and now. I may not agree with him, but I respect him.
The only people who are “Entitled” in this Nation are our Veterans! No one should be entiltled because of ‘Race’> No one should be entitled because of “Economic Standard”. No one should be entitled in this great Nation because of where and/or how they were born.
Those ‘Entitlements’ are not covered in either the’Bill of Rights” nor the “Constitution”.
Mr. McCain talks of ‘Global Warming”. Do your own web search under,”not a fossil fuel”, and discover that we all have been lied to for a very long time now. Not only about a naturally made substance crated from pressure, temperature, calcium carbonate which equals oil and methane, but that ‘Global Warming’ was nothing but a hypothiesis that was totally disproven in the earliest part of this Century.
Now as Americans we are being punished and multiplie being taxed on things that do not even exist!
Lenin, the creator of Communism in Russia, said,”A lie told often enough becomes the truth”
Do not let this Administration, nor this Congress lie to you anymore, do your own research!
Then get government out of peoples and businesses lives! They do not belong their!
Please show Mr. McCain the nice graph showing the contribution of human emmissions of CO2, posted here at the Heritage site. Perhaps, he can get off on this idea that any govt program can help reduce such human emmissions. Global warming is a clear fraud and a danger to our freedoms.
This is the guy who Crosses the Isle, to be Abused!
I hope the Republican base can vote out McCain in his Primary. It's time for all career Politicians to go they are the worst of the worst in Washington.
